Database The Center for Land Grant Studies and the Center, with funding, is developing a
database of all New Mexico land grants. The initial version will
list basic information on each grant including primary source
references. Later versions, if additional funding is secured,
will include links to scans of original grant documents, translations
if available, maps and other resources. When funding allows,
the database will be posted on the Internet at www.rioarribanm.com and issued as a CD for both Windows & Macintosh. A printed manual and bibliography will be available
to assist users of the database. Additional
resources for the project are being provided by the New Mexico
State Archives. A very preliminary listing of grants entered
so far are shown here:
